Welcome!

Welcome to Fault in our Stars! We are a Harry Potter based role play, but we are not like any other. Instead of being purely “Marauder-era” or “Post-Potter era,” we are a mixture of the two! When a Time-Turner experiment goes completely astray, the Slytherins are left at the new Hogwarts whereas everyone else, including the teachers, gets sent back to the time of the Marauders. Choose your weapon! An all-out war is about to unfold, which side will you choose?

ORIENTATION ;;
[ ]THE RULE BOOK ;; (1 sub-board)
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry requires every student to follow the rules, regardless of race, age, gender, or legacy. Please read over the rules carefully and if there are any questions, please feel free to contact the headmistress.

[ ]GUIDANCE ;;
Any student who needs guidance is allowed it. Please stop by the guidance office if you have a question about anything! You'll either get help from another student, a teacher, or even the headmistress herself. Please don't hesitate to ask questions.
00
[ ]STAFF LOUNGE ;;
The teachers and headmistress all relax in this room while students are on break or are practicing spells out in the courtyards. They come up with their lesson plans and concoct different activities they can do with the students. It's a pretty amazing place, actually!

REGISTRATION ;;
[ ]THE ROLE BOOK ;; (5 sub-boards)
All of the students must register in order to be considered a student at Hogwarts. Please fill out the appropriate form and wait until any of the teachers or the headmistress look over your request. After acceptance, each form will be filed into it's respective category.

[ ]INTERACTIONS ;; (3 sub-boards)
Students aren't allowed cell phones in Hogwarts, but they are allowed owls. Some students prefer to communicate through fireplaces, but it is not recommended. A final mode of communication that is not too positive is the howler. If you really dislike someone, howlers are for you!

[ ]RECORDS ;;
If you are one of those organized people, you are allowed to make a log for your characters. Please, one thread per role player! It is not required, but it helps keep everything and everyone in order.

HOGWARTS OF THE PAST ;;
[ ]THE GROUNDS ;; (4 sub-boards)
The grounds of Hogwarts contain various sights to see. However, not all of them are particularly "available" to the students to explore.

in six feet ( under ) stars.
[ ]THE DUNGEONS ;; (4 sub-boards)
Many different rooms are located down in the dungeons. Such rooms include the Potions classroom and different offices. But be warned: during the evening, the dungeons aren't the ideal place to be.
00
[ ]GROUND FLOOR ;; (4 sub-boards)
The ground floor contains all of the important places for all of the houses and the entire school.
00
[ ]FIRST FLOOR ;; (4 sub-boards)
At the top of the marble staircase from the ground floor is the first floor. The Entrance Hall and Great Hall are several stories tall, so they extend into this floor from below.
00
[ ]SECOND FLOOR ;; (1 sub-board)
The second floor contains not many important classrooms that we know about. If you so choose to role play on the second floor, the corridors will be the setting for the most part.
00
[ ]THIRD FLOOR ;; (2 sub-boards)
The third floor, like the second floor, does not have many rooms of note. So, for the most part, the setting of threads will be in the corridors.
00
[ ]FOURTH FLOOR ;; (2 sub-boards)
The fourth floor contains a few academic rooms and a few paintings, but otherwise is unimportant. Again, the setting will mainly be corridors.
00
[ ]FIFTH FLOOR ;; (1 sub-board)
The fifth floor is famous only for the prefects' bathroom and a statue of Gregory the Smarmy. Otherwise, you'll be in the corridors.
00
[ ]SIXTH FLOOR ;; (3 sub-boards)
The sixth and final floor of Hogwarts contains a couple important rooms. Some include the Gryffindor common room, the Room of Requirement, and the Divination classroom.
00
[ ]TOWERS ;; (5 sub-boards)
There are a few towers of note. The towers are a beautiful place to just relax and think.
00
HOGSMEADE ;;
[ ]DERVISH & BANGES ;;
Dervish & Banges is a shop that sells and repairs magical instruments and the like. Although not well visited on a regular basis, the Slytherins have been visiting here quite often.
00
[ ]GLADRAGS WIZARDWEAR ;;
Gladrags Wizardwear is a clothier, with additional shops in London and Paris. It is rumored that socks are sold here, which is interesting because not too many people care too much about socks.
00
[ ]THE HOG'S HEAD ;;
Though not too popular of a hangout, the Hog's Head pub is definitely a place one can find interesting people. The bar in the Hog's Head is small and extraordinarily dirty and strewn with sawdust, with the windows nearly opaque and the floor all but invisible beneath the dirt. Typically, not many people visit here, not even teachers.
00
[ ]HONEYDUKES SWEETSHOP ;;
Honeydukes is a sweetshop owned by a sweet couple. The most succulent-looking sweets imaginable are available here for purchase and consumption. In addition to the standard wizarding candy that is sold there, the owners also make their own fudge and chocolate. Obviously, it is a rather popular destination for children of any age.
00
[ ]MADAM PUDDIFOOT'S ;;
Madam Puddifoot's is a small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly. The only Hogwarts students who seem to patronize the place are trysting couples.
00
[ ]THE SHRIEKING SHACK ;;
Falsely rumored to be the most haunteed building in Britain, the Shrieking Shack is a favorite stop on any Hogsmeade visit. The shack cannot be broken into from the outside, but it must be entered through a secret passageway.
00
[ ]THE THREE BROOMSTICKS ;;
A well-known inn and a frequent haunt of Hogwarts students, the Three Broomsticks is a warm and comfortable place to drink some butterbeer. Other drinks available include firewhisky, gillywater, mulled mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella.
00
[ ]ZONKO'S JOKE SHOP ;;
Zonko's is a favorite place for Hogwarts students to shop. They carry such jokes and tricks as Dungbombs, Hiccup Sweets, Frog Spawn Soap, and Nose-Biting Teacups.
00
HOGWARTS OF THE FUTURE ;;
[ ]GREAT HALL ;;
The Great Hall is one of the few places still in tact after the Time-Turner incident. As the plot suggests, the Slytherins and the Headmaster are the only ones left, and they are only allowed to enter the Slytherin common room, the Great Hall, the Quidditch pitch, and Hogsmeade. Otherwise, their freedom is limited.
00
[ ]SLYTHERIN COMMON ROOM ;;
Here is where the Slytherins sleep. Honestly, this is the only common room that is in use at the Hogwarts, currently.
00
[ ]THE LAWNS ;;
The lawns are a wide and expansive plot of land leading from Hogwarts to the lake. They are wide open and available for just about anything. In fact, many students have ridden their broomsticks at times.
00
[ ]THE LAKE ;;
The lake is wide and filled with various creatures. The Slytherins are looking to harness them all to help them with their ultimate takeover. Scary thought, sure, but what do you expect from the most evil House in Hogwarts history?
00
[ ]THE FORBIDDEN FOREST ;;
The Forbidden Forest is no longer forbidden to the Slytherins of Hogwarts. Now, they are forced to go into the Forest to seek out allies.
00
OUT OF CLASS (OOC) ;;
[ ]BREAK TIME ;; (2 sub-boards)
Students are allowed breaks from time to time. What they do with their breaks is up to them entirely! Some like to write poems while others like to fool around and play games.
00
[ ]SICK DAYS ;;
When a student gets sick, the Hogwarts staff would like to be notified just in case the illness is serious. Perhaps the nurses would be able to help? But even so, make sure you let us know whether you're leaving or not. Also, you can introduce yourself here!
00
[ ]SCHOOL PRIDE ;; (2 sub-boards)
Here is where you can advertise for your own site and affiliate with us! We'd love to become friends. So please fill out the easy form and join our family! Also, the advertisement for FIOS is located here for your convenience.

Pretty much this is just where old characters and threads go after they've been neglected or in the thread's case, completed.
